Team Felix the CatEdit

Felix the CatEdit

By the late 1920s with the arrival of sound cartoons Felix's success was fading. The new Disney shorts of Mickey Mouse made the silent offerings of Sullivan and Messmer, who were then unwilling to move to sound production, seem outdated. In 1929, Sullivan decided to make the transition and began distributing Felix sound cartoons through Copley Pictures. The sound Felix shorts proved to be a failure and the operation ended in 1932. Sullivan died in 1933. Felix saw a brief three cartoon resurrection in 1936 by the Van Beuren Studios.

Kitty KatEdit

In her first known appearance, Feline Follies, Kitty was better known as "Miss Kitty White", as a pun of her natural coloration. When she first met Felix (mislabled Master Tom at the time), it was love at first sight, even though before that day he was what many refer to as a "cat-sanova", and after all his life breaking hearts of other women (in fact, he still chases after any female feline with the supermodel image), Kitty turns the tables on him, as he couldn't help playing lively music for her dancing, dating her several nights in a row when he should be mouse hunting, and even admitting he'd live all nine of his lives for her (in fact, in The Last Life, he wasted eight of them trying to show off).

Poindexter, also sometimes go by the nickname "Poinsy", is a genius scientist who is both the Professor's nephew and a friend of Felix. Basically, still being a child, Poindexter falls under the "minion with an F in Evil" topic, though his IQ level (which is 222) gives him A's in everything else, especially science. The button on his shirt allows him to temporarily glitch machinery and short range teleport.

Skiddoo is one of Felix the Cat's friends. Skiddoo is to Felix as Costello is to Abbott. He adds unspoken background sight gags to many of Felix's adventures.
